Alexis equals Van Persie with Southampton goal

The Chile international extended his excellent away record this season with a terrific strike against the Saints, reaching a milestone figure to boot
Arsenal attacker Alexis Sanchez became the first Gunners player in five campaigns to score 20
goals in a Premier League campaign as he netted the opener in the 2-0 win against Southampton.
Ox limps off for Arsenal
The Chile international finished splendidly after being set up by Mesut Ozil to help Arsenal's slim chances of completing the campaign in the top four.
With his 20th goal of the season, Alexis became the first player since Robin van Persie to reach that milestone - with the Dutch striker exceeding that tally in 2011-12 by netting on 30 occasions as Arsenal finished third in the Premier League.

Alexis scored 16 league goals in his first season at the Emirates, following it up with 13 in his second campaign, but his third season in the Premier League has been his best to date.
The 28-year-old's strike against Southampton was also his 14th away goal - more than any other player in the division.
