Manchester United best run since fergie's era

The Red Devils have gone 13 games without losing, their best run since the Scot was still stalking around the corridors of Old Trafford almost four years ago
It may have taken Jose Mourinho a little time to get in the swing of things around Old Trafford, but the Manchester United manager is now most definitely on a roll.
The Red Devils picked up three more points on Monday with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over West Ham United, a result that puts the club on the verge of the Champions League qualification places.
Juan Mata and Zlatan Ibrahimovic made the breakthrough after half-time, setting a milestone for United that hasn't been seen since the glory days of Sir Alex Ferguson.
United are now unbeaten in their last 13 games in all competitions, their longest run since March 2013 and Sir Alex's final season at the helm.

FULL TIME: Manchester City 2-1 Burnley

The Scot, however, extended that streak to 18 games, leaving Mourinho with some work to do still should he wish to overtake the old master.
On a personal level, meanwhile, there was more to celebrate for the Special One.
Mourinho has now triumphed in his last seven games in all competitions, also his best run since 2014 when he was managing Chelsea.
