Kaka remains upbeat following hamstring injury

The Brazilian will miss up to six weeks of football due to the injury he picked up against New York City, but is remaining calm about his situation

Orlando City midfielder Kaka is refusing to dwell on the hamstring injury picked up in the club's season opener against New York City, which will keep him out of action for six weeks.
The injury occurred in the eighth minute of Orlando's 1-0 win over the New York side on Sunday, with the 34-year-old former Ballon d'Or winner eventually replaced by Giles Barnes.
Rather than looking at the situation as a setback, however, Kaka remained positive and shared a quote from the Bible to his Facebook followers.

“Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day," Kaka posted.

“I am very, very disappointed for [Kaká]. He’s worked extremely hard in the off-season and hard in the pre-season,” Orlando head coach Jason Kreis said following the injury. “This could’ve been a huge night for him."
