Zlatan Ibrahimovic has seen his Manchester United season ended by injury, but the enigmatic Swede has been urged to bounce back stronger by Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho’s playing days at the highest level are now over, with the iconic former World Player of the Year now best remembered for his exploits with Barcelona and Brazil.

Ibrahimovic, though, feels he still has a few years left him and his ex-colleague has backed him to make a speedy recovery from a cruciate knee ligament ailment which will require surgery.
"My friend Zlatan Ibrahimovic, I wish you all the strength in this difficult time," Ronaldinho posted in a message on Instagram.
"I’m hoping for your speedy recovery and hope to see you soon, charming us with your football."
With his 2016-17 campaign at a close, it now remains to be seen where Ibrahimovic’s next competitive outing will come.
A 12-month deal with United is set to expire this summer and no extension has been put in place as yet.
A potential switch to Major League Soccer has been mooted, as has a return to Italy with Napoli, but for now a mercurial talent is focused on a lengthy rehabilitation process.
